My favorite character from my own books is Peggy the Pig. She and I are very similar. We always imagine the worst, but, luckily, everything turns out okay in the end.

When I'm not working, I'm usually busy driving my daughter, Katherine, to and
from the stable where she rides and works. I'm so happy to see horses every day!
I also enjoy listening to music — mostly musicals or The Rolling Stones.
I like to dance, walk, and go to museums and the theater. I tend to worry about
what to do with my hair a lot.
I live with my husband, daughter, dog and three cats in a little yellow house with pink trim in New York's Hudson Valley. It's very pretty and quiet here and not too far from New York City!
